Instant Classic game I just play (CHC) against MIL... The Brew Crew jumped out to a quick 2-0 lead, nicking C. Zambrano for 2 runs in the bottom of the 1st. Gallardo was in trouble for Milwaukee all game but he proved to have a bend, but don't break attitude. I had the bases loaded with no outs in the 7th, and he managed to pitch out of it. Then in the 8th, we left them loaded again after chasing Gallardo from the game, but the bullpen stopped the 2-out rally. MIL managed to scrape 1 more in the bottom of the 8th, and I thought it was pretty much over, as the CPU was warming up Trevor Hoffman. Hopphauer struck out to lead off the 9th on a called third strike, and Theriot popped out... LOL, I just knew it was over then. I managed to work a 2-2 count with Fukadome, then Tee'd off with a solo shot to right field. Next up, D. Lee hit the second pitch he saw to dead center for a homerun! Game tied 3-3, so I got have the bullpen up... Marmol pitched the 9th for me and was still out there in the 10th... I paused twice thinking I should bring in a reliever but since the bottom of the 9th went so good for him, I kept him in. After retiring the 1st batter, Ryan Braun proceeded to hit a 1-1 slider out over the left field wall. Game. Over. LOL, I don't mind losing games like this tho, it was definitely a rivalry type atmosphere :D
