ON DECK
TEAMS: Milwaukee Brewers (4-8) at Philadelphia Phillies (5-6). WHEN: 6:05 p.m. Tuesday.
WHERE: Citizens Bank Ballpark, Philadelphia.
BROADCASTS: TV - FS Wisconsin. Radio - AM-620.
STARTING PITCHERS: Milwaukee LHP Manny Parra (0-2, 6.97 earned run average) vs. Philadelphia LHP Jamie Moyer (1-1, 6.55). Parra is 0-2 with a 27.00 ERA in two games (one start) against the Phillies. He was hammered (five runs in 1 1/3 inning) in the four-game debacle last September in Philadelphia that led to the firing of manager Ned Yost. Moyer is 9-5 with a 3.63 ERA in 22 career appearances (17 starts) against Milwaukee.
SCOUTING REPORT: The defending World Series champions are off to a slow start, much of it related to pitching problems (league-worst 6.87 ERA). Phillies starters had surrendered 18 home runs, including seven by RHP Brett Myers. Closer Brad Lidge blew his first save since 2007 Saturday night against San Diego.
