The Brewers have been successful on 95 of 127 steal attempts (74.8 percent) this season.
--LHP Manny Parra, who had struggled with his command in recent outings, did not walk a batter in six innings Wednesday in St. Louis. Parra allowed just six hits and one run but received a no-decision when the Cardinals rallied late to win, 5-3. "I thought Manny threw the ball great," manager Ned Yost said.
--RHP Dave Bush, who starts the opener of a three-game series in Pittsburgh on Friday night, is 3-0 with a 2.30 ERA in four starts in August.
