
--RHP Jeff Suppan allowed a career-high 11 runs (eight earned) in 3 2/3 innings Wednesday night against the Cubs. His previous high for runs allowed was 10 against Atlanta on July 5, 2006.
--2B Rickie Weeks has scored 68 runs since returning from the disabled list last Aug. 10, the most of any player in the major leagues during that time. --LHP Brian Shouse did not allow any of the first 11 runners he inherited to score this season. But Shouse now has allowed six of the last seven inherited runners to score.
