--RHP Yovani Gallardo became the all-time leader in club history among pitchers when he socked his fourth homer Tuesday for the only run in a 1-0 victory over Pittsburgh. Gallardo broke a tie with Brooks Kieschnick, who began his career as a position player. The last pitcher to homer in a 1-0 game was Odalis Perez for the Los Angeles Dodgers against Arizona on Aug. 28, 2002.

--RF Corey Hart has concentrated on improving his on-base percentage this season, and it's working. Hart has hit safely in 10 of his last 12 games and boosted his OBP to .385. He has five doubles in his last five games.

--Class A Brevard County RHP Evan Anundsen threw a no-hitter Tuesday against Dayton, logging a career-high 10 strikeouts. It was the first nine-inning no-hitter in the minors this season. Anundsen (20) was a fourth-round draft pick in 2006 out of Columbine (Colo.) High School.
