
--Class A Brevard County RHP Evan Anundsen threw a no-hitter Tuesday against Dayton, logging a career-high 10 strikeouts. It was the first nine-inning no-hitter in the minors this season. Anundsen (20) was a fourth-round draft pick in 2006 out of Columbine (Colo.) High School.
--LF Ryan Braun and C Jason Kendall each have been hit by four pitches, tied for most in the NL. 2B Rickie Weeks and 1B Prince Fielder are tied with three other players with three HBPs. The Brewers had been hit by pitches 15 times, most in the majors. --OF Lorenzo Cain, one of the top prospects in the Brewers' organization, will not need surgery after tearing the posterior cruciate ligament in his left knee at Class AA Huntsville. Cain will need four to six weeks of physical therapy and rehab.
