--OF Jason Tyner's contract was sold by the Brewers to Detroit for future cash considerations. Tyner was batting .095 (2-for-21) at Class AAA Nashville. --RHP Todd Coffey had not allowed a run in 16 appearances with the Brewers since being claimed off waivers from Cincinnati until Philadelphia RF Jayson Werth hit a one-out home run off him in the bottom of the ninth Wednesday night. Coffey allowed two more hits but closed out the Phillies in a 3-1 victory, recording his second consecutive save.
